Bio: Dr. Dave Greenfield is a nationally and internationally recognized expert in the study and treatment of all forms of Internet abuse and behaviors associated with addictions linked to technology in both the home and workplace. A gifted speaker and teacher, Dr. Dave is the critically acclaimed author of the groundbreaking book entitled Virtual Addiction (New Harbinger Books, 1999).
Dr. Dave is a past-president of the Connecticut Psychological Association and is a founding partner of the Connecticut-based Psychological Health Associates, LLC. As a practicing clinician, he regularly treats private patients dealing with numerous issues, including marriage and family problems, child custody issues, workplace problems, and all types of addictive and compulsive behavior. He is also an expert in human sexuality issues and the treatment of Internet/cyber-addictions to pornography, video/computer gaming and gambling, among others.
Dr. Dave also serves as an assistant clinical professor of psychiatry at The University of Connecticut's School of Medicine.
