Dr. Lawrence S. Reed is a board-certified plastic surgeon, a diplomate of the American Board of Plastic Surgery and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
He completed his six years of training in general surgery at the University of Pennsylvania Graduate Hospital. He then received his plastic surgery training at the former New York Hospital/Cornell Medical Center, ending with a fellowship at Memorial Hospital.
Dr. Reed is a clinical assistant professor of surgery (plastic surgery) at Weill Medical College of Cornell University. He is in private practice in New York City and his affiliations include New York-Presbyterian Hospital, Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital and the Singer Division of Beth Israel Medical Center.
An author of numerous articles in the field of plastic surgery, Dr. Reed is active in the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. He chairs the Accreditations Committee of the American Association for the Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgery Facilities and is a member of the Northeastern Society of Plastic Surgeons and the International College of Surgeons.
