Localization Tips:
- Many organizations such as the YMCA offer
activities for families that are designed to keep kids drug-free.
Visit these organizations and interview parents and kids.
- Locate a local drug treatment center.
Interview a counselor. Find out what "language" and names parents
should listen for in your area.
- Create a phonebank at your station. Have
local counselors and drug treatment experts on hand to take calls
from concerned parents.
- With the help of local agencies, create
a tip sheet for parents, available by mail or at a local store.
